A journey to Washington, DC!

Last weekend, starting on Friday night, I went on a bus to DC with a bunch of other people. We had people from all over. Some were from Concord, others from Carlisle and even Groton decided to join in.  Our group was so large, it actually required two buses instead of one (and it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable trying to sleep in it.)

Our journey began around ten PM and ended at our destination at roughly six AM Saturday morning. The fun didn't really start until around twelve in the afternoon when the march began. It was meant to protest against climate-change deniers and to prove a point that climate change IS real and that we're causing most - if not all of it.

It was ninety degrees; the heat was terrible. Yet somehow, all of us stayed and managed to finish the march including myself. We went back home at the end of the day and it was an amazing cultural experience!
