Summer Program Visits Bunker Hill Monument

On July 6, Pathways and Launch went on a field trip to Bunker Hill Monument.  First, we stopped at the monument.  We went up the hill to check the site of the Battle of Bunker Hill which was fought on June 17, 1775, over 247 years ago.  After that, we boarded the bus, where Mr. Keane was the bus tour guide.  We looked outside to see some interesting things around Boston.  We saw one interesting building that used to be a church and then the church building became a Dollar Tree but the building was kept the same way which is unique.  Then we had lunch at the CambridgeSide Galleria.  After lunch, we went on a nice walk outside by the Charles River.  I saw the cruise boats and two geese swimming.
