Pathways Visits Woods Hill Table to Talk Hydroponics

Last Friday, Clare, Sam and Ethan did a magnificent job presenting why the Woods Hill Table restaurant should partner with Pathways for the Hydroponics project.  Their knowledge and expertise were greatly appreciated by the owner and the executive chef. As a gesture of goodwill, students presented the manager sprigs of herbs grown from the most recent hydroponics harvest. At the conclusion of a presentation, the students were provided a tour of this completely organic, farm-to-Table restaurant. Here's to the future collaboration!

Here is the link to the slides the Pathways students presented to the Woods Hill Table Chef and the owner:
Students Presentation

From Clare: First we showed the chef the plants. The plants were nice and fresh. Then everyone showed the Pathways Hydroponics presentation. Sam, Ethan, and I took turns reading each slide. Showing our presentation was a lot of fun. After our presentation, we went on a tour of the restaurant. Everyone saw all the supplies and furniture in the kitchen. It was nice and big. I saw the gigantic dishwasher, slow cooker, food ingredients, huge refrigerator, freezer, and wine pantry. The tour was fun and amazing!
BONUS: It was exciting to see our former student, Ethan!
