Do you think Hydroponics is easy?

Growing with hydroponics comes with many advantages, but periodically you have to clean the system.  The Pathways Team successfully flushed, cleaned and sterilized the entire system after first growing cycle.


By Clare: Disassembled the towers: All the pieces from the hydroponic towers pieces were all broken apart.

Root chamber - root debris.

 Soaked and cleaned. We drain the reservoir and removed all debris.

Fresh water supply is really important for plants and the pumps.

Reassembly and replanting. It didn't take a lot of time to setup after disassembling, even so it was our first time. We are getting more experienced!

Add nutrient rich solution for plants so they wont starve. The plants will grow bigger and faster because they won't work as hard to obtain nutrients. 

Monitoring and managing pH level in the system is taking time, too, but it's fun.
