This week was the first cooking day of the school year in Life Skills! Students made homemade meatball subs! They were delicious!

Pathways Science Friday! 

First two weeks of science questions are below.  Many found the right answers! Raleigh and Jack helped explain them in detail. 


1. Why does a year consist of 365 days and a day of 24 hours? 
Answer: A year, 365 days, is the time it takes for the Earth to travel around the Sun. A day, 24 hours, is the time it takes for the Earth to spin around once on its axis.

2. What percentage of the earth is covered by water? 
Answer:  About 71 percent of the earth's surface is covered by water.
