The Pathways students had a productive end to the first semester. During the Life Skills block of the midyear exam week, the students participated in a community mobility exercise. Each student was asked to identify a variety of landmarks in downtown Concord and then take a photo of each establishment. Before heading back to school, they stopped at Main Streets Cafe for some treats. When they returned to school, each student created a slideshow presentation about the adventure with pictures and a written narrative. Student feedback regarding this excursion was overwhelmingly positive! We hope to do more activities like this as the weather warms up!
