This week in biology Genna and Ms.Malone made a snow volcano! They used food coloring, vinegar, and baking soda to make this colorful explosion. See the video posted below to watch it all unfold!
Genna has been learning about osmosis in biology. She placed vinegar in a cup along with an uncooked egg. After about four days of the egg soaking in the vinegar, Genna placed the egg in the bowl to see what happened. She discovered that the egg shell has disappeared! The last picture shows her poking the egg to see if the inside changed its state. Even though the egg shell was gone, the inside of the egg stayed the same!
