Our Favorite OT exercises with Ms. Clark!

Every Tuesday morning is OT Sensory Motor Group. During this group, we do a variety of exercises and stretches to get our bodies ready for our school day.  The activities work on promoting muscle strengthening, sensory awareness, motor planning, coordination and balance.  We jump on the trampoline, use weighted medicine ball, perform a variety of stretches for our upper and lower extremities, do group exercise games, and learn yoga poses.  We are learning that exercise, not only is great for our bodies, but also can be a lot of FUN!
